Consumer Collection Agent - Jacksonville, FL

NCB Management Services, Inc., a national Debt Purchaser and Contingency Collection Agency, continues to expand and grow our operations. We currently are seeking experienced CONSUMER COLLECTION AGENTS to fill several Part-Time and Full-Time positions in our Jacksonville, FL operations center. Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years consumer collections and skip tracing experience. First rate people skills are required.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Candidates will represent the company in a professional and enthusiastic manner by providing an exceptional level of service and adhering to our core values in all functions of their job responsibilities including interaction with internal and external customers.

Establish telephone contact with customers that have outstanding amounts due within the time frames established by the company.

Develop customer relations in order to establish and set appropriate Payment time frames for customers in default. This would include follow-up contact on broken promises and customer requests as well as meeting all the requirements of the FDCPA.

  • Maintain accurate information within the account management system on all customer contact information.
  • Skip trace on accounts with no contact information during non-peak collection times.
  • Meet key performance Indicators as outlined by management.
  • Maintain a minimum monthly Quality Assurance score of 95%
  • Full timers must be able to work 2 nights a week and 2 Saturday‚Äôs a month.
  • Part Timers must be able to work a schedule consisting of evenings and/or weekends.
  • ¬†CONSUMER COLLECTION AGENTS will be required to adhere to an agreed upon work schedule.
  • Be a solid negotiator for payment arrangements with customers.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES

  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to understand and apply sound business math skills.
  • Knowledge of FDCPA, FCRA and CFPB required.
  • Ability to multitask, must be able to read and type while on call with customer.
  • Ability to work overtime as required by the department manager based on work requirements.
  • Requires extended periods of sitting at work station.

QUALIFICATIONS or TRAINING

  • College degree or equivalent related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Active Duty Military and Military Veterans welcome
  • Reliable transportation or access to Public Transportation
