Administrative Assistant

Administrative Assistant Job Purpose:

This position provides administrative support to upper level management. In this position, the Administrative Assistant will be assigned a range of duties that will need to be completed in an efficient and effective manner.

Administrative Assistant Job Duties:

· Answer and manage incoming calls in a polite and professional manner

· Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents

· Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential

· Liaison between executives and internal staff at all levels

· Prepare and monitor invoices and expense reports

· Independently exercise good judgment and sound reasoning by prioritizing assignments and multiple tasks with little to no supervision

· Prioritizes conflicting needs handles matters expeditiously and proactively, and follow-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures

· Effective written and verbal communication skills

· Independent problem solving analysis and decision-making skills

· Great attention to detail and accuracy

· Ability to maintain confidentiality

· Knowledge of standard office administrative practices and procedures

· Proficient knowledge of relevant computer programs such as MS office

· Possess a high level of professionalism

· Must be punctual and dependable

Education and Experience:

· Previous experience providing support to upper level management is required

· Minimum HS diploma or equivalent
