Position Overview:

The Corporate Call Center Recruiter will be the primary point of contact for all applicants and will work directly with management to provide staffing and recruiting solutions by sourcing, screening and scheduling interviews for qualified candidates.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, screen/interview candidates, and select top candidates for positions
  • Serve as a company ambassador in the job marketplace by supporting and promoting the company's culture and brand to effectively attract top talent through social media channels, job boards, and attending local job fair events
  • Screen resumes and interview candidates for various positions within an organization
  • Communicate with potential applicants by phone, email, or in person
  • Create job announcements that list requirements for each job, such as desired work experience, education, and job skills
  • Apply principles of behavioral interviewing to access the qualifications of candidates
  • Investigate referrals, references, and social media sources to formulate a well-rounded view of applicants
  • Maintain and update applicant tracking system daily.
  • Work closely with Senior Management and Key departments to proactively staff existing and pending projects.
  • Work with hiring/training managers on recruiting plans.
  • Collaborate with Hiring Mangers to in creation of job descriptions.
  • Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position.
  • Efficiently and effectively fill open positions.
  • Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
  • Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements.
  • Conduct prescreening interviews.
  • Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
  • Build networks to find qualified passive candidates.
  • Post openings using job boards – Indeed, NCB Career page, and LinkedIn for high-level positions.
  • Utilize the Internet for recruitment.
    • Research new ways of using the Internet for recruitment.
    • Use social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates.

Professional Experience / Qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • 3+ years sourcing and recruiting experience for a high-volume organization for multiple locations.
  • Call Center and Debt Collection industry is a plus.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, especially the ability to network and establish professional relationships.
  • Willingness to use cold or warm calling methods to recruit or research potential applicants
  • A professional, courteous demeanor on the phone and in-person
  • An impeccable public image, including on social media
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize in a demanding, fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
  • Excellent analytical skills to track metrics and interpret data for strategic recruiting campaigns
  • Extensive knowledge of all full life-cycle recruiting components, including sourcing, qualifying, networking and assessing candidate skills.
  • Ability to manage competing demands and accept constructive feedback.
  • Can handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
  • Ability to adapt and flourish in a fast-paced environment.
  •  Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and social media applications.
  • Excellent writing, communication and Microsoft Office skills.
